I mostly bought and didn’t sell much—I’m not a day trader, after all. My original focus was on AI-utility tokens, but with the current meme coin momentum, I couldn’t ignore the rising AI-meme category.

Observations on AI-Meme and Market Behavior

As I spent time in various communities, I noticed interesting narratives behind these tokens. However, the risk of rug pulls looms large, reminding me of the earlier Solana meme craze. What’s different now is that many of these projects have some kind of story backing them, although the market is still saturated with low-effort tokens.

AI-meme tokens, much like their predecessors, are abundant. Over time, only the top-tier tokens will survive and make their way to Tier-1 exchanges. This is why I centered my portfolio around projects connected to $GOAT, while analyzing wallets holding significant amounts of these tokens.

From what I observed, strategies among holders vary. Some exit at 2-3x returns, while others take smaller profits of 10-20% and move on. However, just like with WIF, there are bound to be people who miss their exits entirely.

My Plan: Staged Exits

To mitigate this, I’m planning staged exits at various milestones—2x, 5x, 10x, and so on. This ensures that I lock in profits incrementally while leaving room for further upside. With meme coins, the key is small amounts and disciplined exits.

Portfolio Updates and Market Outlook

My Solana wallet still accounts for less than 1% of my total portfolio, as the majority remains in AI-utility tokens. These utility coins seem to be showing early signs of a breakout, which is encouraging.

Meanwhile, $XRP’s recent movements suggest a rotation is happening. My guess is that we’ll see a light market correction next week as this cycle matures.

For now, the focus remains on diversification, profit-taking, and preparing for the next leg of the market.
